As the days become longer, the temperature starts to rise and the earth embarks on another growing season. Full of potential. The eagerness of mother nature’s warm change from the doldrums of winter is emulated in the spirit of then eager homeowner, ready to enjoy countless days and evenings on their lawns and backyards.
A healthy lawn and landscape is a critical aspect to appreciating the aesthetic gifts that mother nature has to offer. According to a survey conducted by the National Association of Landscape Professionals in 2015, 83% of Americans believe having a yard is important and that 75% feel it is important to spend time in their yards. Another 71% think it is important that their neighbors have well-maintained yards. Friendly competition among neighbors muscling for rank of a great lawn brings a new meaning to the phrase “turf wars.”
